Millville’s wildly successful Union Lake Crossing shopping center continues their impressive signings with more retailers coming; Old Navy, Rally House and Poke Bros.
Additionally Fun City Adventure Park and Five Guys Burgers have both recently opened in the complex.
The Union Lake Crossing shopping center is located in a large commercial district on Route 47-Delsea Drive at the Route 55 exits, which spans from Millville into Vineland (and the Cumberland Mall area).
The Union Lake center is anchored by Target, Kohl’s and Shoprite but features several “medium box” retailers such as Five Below and Party City, and also a significant number of smaller units.
Back in January I featured the Delsea Drive shopping center focusing on a “then” list of upcoming new tenants; Crumbl Cookies, Skechers, Inspira Health, Fun City and Five Guys. 42Freeway readers responded in a big way to that article, with Facebook reactions reaching over 650 and 120,000 people seeing that article share! So would you believe that even with a first round of new signings in January, and now several more names to announce in April in this article… there are still a few more units in the final stages of leasing?!
Old Navy is a popular affordable fashion brand which was created in 1994 as a part of the Gap companies. Today they have grown into one of the largest and most recognizable apparel brands in the world.
The new location for the Union Lake Center in Millville will be in the building at the back of the property, located between the recently opened Fun City Adventure Park and Ross Dress For Less.
Fun City moved into the former Dick’s Sporting Goods location taking up about 75% of that building… Old Navy will take over the remaining 25% or so, which is on the right side of the former Sporting Goods facility.
Dick’s Sporting Goods moved over to the Cumberland Mall.
Rally House is a very popular sports apparel retailer known almost as much for their catchy “jingle” commercials shown frequently on the Philadelphia Phillies television broadcasts!
They offer sports apparel and merchandise focused on the area’s local professional sports teams and universities.
They are clearly on an expansion boom through South Jersey having recently opened locations in Deptford and Blackwood Gloucester Township. In Mount Laurel they relocated to a new location and there’s still a second location planned for Deptford (article to come).
For Millville they will be located on the left side of the shopping center in the building which is home to PetSmart and Five Below.
Specifically, Rally House will be located directly to the right of Famous Footwear.
Also, there is an additional empty unit between the upcoming Rally House and PetSmart… and that is indicated as being actively in the lease process! Another new store coming!
Poke Bros is a chain of fresh Hawaiian style Poke Bowls which is signed on to open up in the front building of the shopping center, directly facing Delsea Drive.
If you’re unfamiliar with Poke, it is similar to sushi featuring fresh sushi style fish (salmon, tuna, shrimp and even chicken) but typically served in a bowl where fresh vegetables and rice are added.
Back in 2021 I featured the opening of a location in Gloucester Township , at the shops at Cross Keys
In the last few weeks two of the new businesses I had featured in January have opened; Fun City and Five Guys
As mentioned Fun City has taken over the bulk of the former Dick’s Sporting Goods location at the back of the center.
If you’re unfamiliar with Fun City, they are a large children’s indoor play space featuring trampolines, play mats, ball pits, climbing gyms, ninja style courses and other amazing and innovative fun activities.
In South Jersey they have a another location previously opened in the Blackwood section of Washington Township.
I stopped in at the Fun City Millville location last month and was allowed to take photos of the new children’s play area… it’s surprisingly how large the space is inside and how much they are able to put in there!
When you enter from the front you can only see back so far, and even that view is amazing of all the fun activities and games! But as you keep walking back you realize there’s a whole ‘nutha massive section in the back with giant open spaces for trampolines, as well as a few alcove segregated spaces.
The popular Five Guys hamburger and french fry restaurant is now open in the front road facing building, directly next to Buffalo Wild Wings.
Well I’m happy to report they finally did open. I had stopped in about a week or two before they officially opened and met up with the local managers.
